ARTHRITIS

 

Osteoarthritis Study of 3 approved medications commonly used to treat pain due to osteoarthritis in people who also have or are at risk for heart disease.

 

Gout

 

DIABETES

 

Type II diabetics who are not achieving good blood sugar control while taking oral medications.

 

Newly diagnosed Type II diabetics who are unable to control blood sugars with diet and exercise alone. 

 

Type II diabetics who are overweight and are not able to achieve good blood sugar control.

 

FDA approved insulin study for Type II diabetics who are currently taking 2 or more oral medications.

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE (Hypertension)

Studies for people who are newly diagnosed with high blood pressure.

Studies for people who have high blood pressure and are poorly controlled with medications.

 

HIGH CHOLESTEROL & TRIGLYCERIDES

Cholesterol Studies for people who are considered high risk (heart disease or diabetic)or people with high bad cholesterol (LDL)and low good cholesterol (HDL).

The effect of an investigational medication on peak walking time in patients with Intermittent Claudication (pain in legs during exercise
or movement).
